Lots of un-American stuff: Apryl Fool, Dickens, Montes, Picchio Dal Pozzo, Jacques Fihl, Osamu Kitajima, etc. What can I say, we must hate "freedom" or something.

cappy played during his kraut-rock set?
Pretty sure you're talking about the Osamu Kitajima track...that was the first time I heard that stuff too & I dug it. Careful what you get though;
"Osamu Kitajima is a New Age/Ambient composer and performer, rooted in mystic Japanese sensibility."
the song is 72 minutes and 13 seconds into the show, i found it on the mp3. i think cappy said it was called slaphappy ? but i'll still check out osamu kitajima.
Oh, OK...here's a review:

The Slapp Happy album "Acnalbasac Noom" is real cool as well, used to listen to it at Mystery Train a lot...
Just to clarify: listened to the mp3 & I'm 99% sure the Osamu Kitajima track is the one you were referring to. So, yeah. There you go.
